Golden Hour
There is something magical about the landscape in that last stretch of daylight — when everything becomes warmer, softer and somehow more alive.
Golden Hour is an abstract response to that fleeting moment.
Layers of dusty pink, terracotta, ochre and earthy brown move through softened greens, pale neutrals and unexpected flashes of vivid orange. Stains, scratches, washes and gestural marks build across the surface, giving the painting the feeling of a landscape that has been weathered, changed and marked over time.
Up close, the quieter details begin to emerge. From a distance, the colours settle together into something warm, earthy and beautifully atmospheric.
Framed in white oak, Golden Hour brings warmth and character to a room without overwhelming it — a little piece of the Australian landscape and that beautiful light we get just before the day disappears.
